Jeff Jacoby, Faculty Advisor
Emmy award-winning producer and artist Jeff Jacoby has directed and performed radio, audio, and video programs since 1975. His recent work is primarily engaged with an ongoing investigation of sound and radio art, both solo and in collaboration with artists working in other mediums. Currently serving on the faculty in the Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts Department at San Francisco State University, Jacoby has also served on the faculty of Quinnipiac University and the Digital Audio Project at Real Art Ways, on the boards of The Media Arts Center in New Haven, CT, and The National Radio Project in Oakland, CA, and was a commissioned artist/instructor for the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. Ongoing projects include audio and radio art projects such as The Traveling Radio Show, CitySonics, and The Freedom Fries Art Collective. In addition to his Emmy, Jacoby has been awarded two Cine Golden Eagles, two Benjamin Franklin Awards, two Crystal Radios, the Gold Cindy, and grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and San Francisco State University.

Willie "Dills" Gregory is a junior at SF State after transferring from CCSF. After doing several podcasts over the last 4 years with subjects ranging from local music to video games he's taking on a role as Operations Manager at KSFS. Willie also hosts the Thursday night show "Hard Edition" from 7-9pm. Vowing to leave his mark on KSFS you can always find WIllie in the station either sitting around or maybe even doing stuff.

"Handsome" Mike Krems, Program Director
He has super blue eyes. He is also a super senior (5 and counting). He doesn't write his own material. He is Handsome Mike, a lover of comedy and loved by comedy. When he's not proudly showcasing his Honda Civic (the gas mileage is great) or showing freshmen around campus...or his Honda Civic, he is acting as the Program Director at KSFS. After only 5 years "The Comedy Hour & 1/2" with Handsome Mike is now a reality and can be heard on Mondays not before 7:30pm and not after 9pm. Natalie Barringer, Co-Programming Director
"Natalie Barringer is a 20-year-old senior in the BECA department, studying audio production and recording with no life goals other than staying in school as long as possible. For the past two years, she has hosted Fresh Squeezed, an indie and alternative music show, Monday nights from 6-7 on KSFS. She is deathly afraid of any height greater than five feet, but does bake a mean batch of cookies."
Erin Walter, Webweaver/Communications
Born and raised in San Jose, CA, Erin Courtney Walter is a BECA
major, also minoring in Criminal Justice while attending her senior
year at San Francisco State University. She has worked for KFOG 104.5
FM in Programming, KSCU 103.3 FM in Santa Clara, and has done Sales for KSFS and is currently Webweaver/Communication. Her radio show Wednesdays at 10pm showcases local bands and includes live on-air performances and guests.

Dallas Osborn, Co-Music Director
Dallas is a 21-year old Senior at San Francisco State University and co-music director of KSFS. Since the age of 18, Dallas has been working for San Francisco modern rock station Live 105 (KITS) as part of their street team and has now become the producer of the station's Monday-Friday night show, the "FREE FOR ALL". Dallas also currently works as the senior West Coast rep. for A&R-based company LP33. Currently looking to get as much industry experience as possible, Dallas hopes to work as either a music supervisor for television & film, a music director of a major market radio station, or as a major label A&R in his future.
Samantha Land, News Director
Samantha Land got her start at KFOG Radio in 2007. She’s passionate about preserving localism in radio and believes that providing listeners with quality news is one way to accomplish that. While freelancing for the KFOG news department she’s covered various issues ranging from the Oscar Grant murder trial, to the SFPD drug-testing lab scandal to even some good old fashioned public transportation frustration. Her work can be heard on the KFOG public affairs program “The Beat of the Bay”. This semester Samantha will be working with the SF State journalism department to bring a news magazine show to KSFS as well as a weekly Campus News feature. One of her fondest memories was dancing with Alice Cooper at work
Will McCombs, Sports Director
Will is a senior at State and has been interested in radio broadcasting for a long time. Having a strong passion for sports should provide some spark to his endeavors. As Sports Director for KSFS he plans to continue the excellent quality Gator Sports coverage that the Deuce has become known for. He plans to one day have his own talk radio show.
California born and raised, Bryan Wong is the West Coast suburban legend with an extensive knowledge in raising hell, kicking ass, and taking names. With his ear on the streets and his heart on his sleeve, he knows how to ignite the pulse of the radio station get word out that KSFS is truly embracing the chaos.
